GEORGIAN Grandmaster Levan Pantsulaia and WIM Janelle Mae Frayna shake hands after making the ceremonial moves in yesterday's opening of the $30,000 PSC-Puregold International Chess Challenge at Celebrity Sports Plaza in Quezon City. Standing (from left) are Russian GM Ivan Popov, Armenian GM Avetik Grigoryan, Georgian GM Merab Gagunashvili, tournament director Red Dumuk, age-groupers Cedric Daniel Makato and Justine Mordido, GM Darwin Laylo, GM Richard Bitoon and chief arbiter Gene Poliarco.
